Yverdon Sport tient son nouvel entraîneur. Alessandro Mangiarratti, 45 ans, dirigera l’équipe dès aujourd’hui et sera présenté à la presse ce jeudi 2 novembre !
Fort d’une bonne connaissance du football suisse, Alessandro Mangiarratti (ex-Vaduz, YB M21, Chiasso et équipe de Suisse M17) s’est engagé ce mardi matin à la tête de la première équipe d’Yverdon Sport en Super League. L’entraîneur suisse, dont le profil a été méticuleusement choisi par la Direction du club, fera de la progression et du développement des joueurs une de ses principales missions. Francesco Pargalia (35 ans, ex-Bellinzone et Vaduz) officiera en tant qu’assistant. Alex Weaver poursuivra également son activité sur le banc d’YS.
Alessandro Mangiarratti, qui a notamment mené le FC Vaduz en phase de groupe de la Conference League l’an dernier, a été nommé par la Direction du club pour son approche moderne et bien spécifique du football. «C’est un entraîneur qui connaît le football suisse pour y avoir évolué à la fois comme entraîneur et comme joueur, détaille le président Jeffrey Saunders. Aussi, il partage notre vision du football : celle basée sur un modèle de jeu bien défini, où la méthodologie et la discipline en sont de valeurs essentielles. À ses côtés, nous souhaitons développer un football davantage basé sur la maîtrise du ballon.»

Alessandro Mangiarratti (ex-Vaduz, YB U21, Chiasso and Swiss U17 team), who has a wealth of experience in Swiss football, took up the reins of Yverdon Sport’s first team in the Super League on Tuesday morning. The Swiss coach, whose profile was carefully chosen by the club’s management, will make the progression and development of the players one of his main tasks. Francesco Pargalia (35, ex-Bellinzone and Vaduz) will be working as an assistant. Alex Weaver will continue to be part of the technical staff.
Alessandro Mangiarratti, who led FC Vaduz to the group stage of the Conference League last year, was nominated by the club’s management for his modern and very specific approach to football. He’s a coach who knows Swiss football, having played both as a coach and a player, » explains club president Jeffrey Saunders.
